Texas Teachers Field Supervisor

Texas Teachers’ Field Supervisors are former superintendents, administrators, and directors with more than 15 years of experience, who have had distinguished and successful teaching careers of their own. These experts in the education field are carefully selected, screened, and trained, with the goal to support our new teachers. The Field Supervisor’s main goal is to increase and enhance individual teacher effectiveness by providing interns support, guidance, and constant feedback.

 

Location: Texas

Key Responsibilities

  • Submit observation reports to Texas Teachers by set deadlines.
  • Document observations on electronic portal.
  • Provide constructive and relevant feedback on classroom observations.
  • Communicate with Texas Teachers staff, district/campus administrators on teachers’ progress and performance.
  • Review electronic portal for additions, updates and deadlines.
  • Offer emotional support by listening, encouraging and sharing experiences.
  • Provide remediation for interns experiencing problems via field experience.
  • Help interns navigate Intern Portal on Texas Teachers website.
  • Create a partnership with intern and administrator.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as requested or required.

Candidate Profile

  • Must hold a valid Educator certificate in the state of Texas.
  • Minimum of 15 years teaching experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years administrative experience.
  • Must be willing to commute within 50 miles.
  • Must have flexible schedule.
  • Must be proficient in basic technology skills including but not limited to email, Microsoft Word, scanning documents, PDF files, etc.
  • T-TESS Certified preferred.

Teachers of Tomorrow Field Supervisor
(AZ, FL, IN, MI, NV, NC, SC)

Teachers of Tomorrow Field Supervisors are former superintendents, administrators, directors, supervisors, or principals who have led distinguished and successful teaching careers of their own. We carefully select, screen, and train experts in the field of education to support our newest Teachers of Tomorrow program interns. The Field Supervisor’s main goal is to increase and enhance individual teacher effectiveness by providing program interns support, guidance, and constant feedback.

 

Locations: Arizona, Florida, Indiana, Michigan, Nevada, North Carolina, South Carolina

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Submit observation reports to Teachers of Tomorrow by set deadlines
  • Document observations through the online Field Supervisor Portal
  • Provide constructive and relevant feedback on classroom observations
  • Communicate with Teachers of Tomorrow staff and district/campus administrators on program interns’ progress and performance
  • Review the online Field Supervisor Portal for new additions, updates, and deadlines
  • Offer support to program interns by listening, encouraging, and sharing experiences
  • Provide remediation for program interns experiencing problems with their field experience
  • Create a partnership with program interns and administrator
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities, as requested, or required

CANDIDATE PROFILE

  • Must hold a valid educator license/certificate in the applicable state
  • Minimum of 8 years’ teaching experience
  • Minimum of 3 years’ administrative and/or supervisory experience
  • Must be willing to commute within 50 miles
  • Must have a flexible schedule
  • Must be proficient in basic technology skills, including but not limited to, email, Microsoft Word, Adobe PDF, etc.
